Maggie & Grant’s E-Session

One of my 2012 couples, Maggie & Grant first met at a rather unusual place and you’ll never guess where………Wrong………wrong……… and wrong.

Answer…….a cemetery. What! a cemetery!

They were both working that day, one as a funeral director assistant and the other, well, you can say he was on delivery. But the connection they made when their eyes met was real and so, love was struck. Goes to show that love shows up in the most unusual places.

We had a blast photographing their engagement session, we also had the pleasure of the company of their canine friend Shelby (I love that car!). Like the majority of people, both Maggie and Grant felt a bit uneasy in front of the camera at first. Not sure what to do and how to act, but by the end of the session it was a different story. They were having a great time, and very much at ease. Maggie didn’t want the day to end.

I think this shows the importance of engagement sessions. The couple learns to relax in front of the camera prior to their wedding day. They’ll learn how the photographer works and interacts with them. Hopefully this is when they get to know each other and who knows maybe become friends, as happened with us.

Enjoy the images and as always, feel free to comment. Thank you.
Joe
